Even before the coronavirus pandemic hit, we knew educator wellbeing was an area that needed more attention. Recent events have brought the issue into even greater focus. The pressure on educators is immense and we know it can take a toll on wellbeing. Join Patrice O’Brien, Beyond Blue’s Chief Community Officer, and Geri Sumpter, Head of Be You Delivery, to hear stories about how individual educators, early learning services and schools are all contributing to educator wellbeing. Discover how early learning services and schools can take a whole learning community approach to mental health and wellbeing that incorporates staff wellbeing through the Be You initiative. This session also provides insights into the evidence-based work that Be You is doing with Monash University to understand what educators need to achieve their best possible mental health at work.
