Our modules are free, flexible, accredited... and now better than ever!
Critical incidents can have a range of impacts on everyone in the learning community. The role of the learning environment in promoting a mentally health community, preparing for critical incidents and being responsive in times of crisis have been shown to be crucial in ensuring that people receive the support they need.
These modules aim to empower you to act effectively to limit the impact of critical incidents, by recognising and understanding the possible impacts on children and young people. They also aim to encourage positive, timely and appropriate interventions in a normal, familiar setting.
If you’re a school age care educator, modules in the primary school stream may be the most suitable for you.

Accreditation and endorsement
Modules in the Responding Together domain meet the requirements of teacher-identified professional learning across all states and territories.
Registered teachers in every state and territory must ensure they have added their teacher registration number and state or territory to the My Profile page in their Be You account.
Please see FAQs for more details on the Be You Professional Learning upload process and time frames in which participants can expect their learning to be recorded with their relevant organisation.
In the ACT, completing Responding Together will contribute nine (9) hours of ACT Teacher Quality Institute (TQI) accredited professional learning addressing standards of the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers.
In NSW, completing the individual modules within the Responding Together domain will contribute to NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) accredited professional development hours. Details about the hours and Australian Professional Standards alignment can be found on the landing page of each of the modules.
